Alvin2 The Squeakuel Ready For Launch

So I have been walking by this theatre for a little while now and I noticed that they had these novelty ChipMunks that are as big as humans sitting in the lobby. My brother finally made me get in there and pose with them. They are really cute. It's funny because Fox is the creator of this film, and they of course did the Simpson's film which is the last time I have seen these same kind of puffy life sized characters. Remember the ones from the Simpson's where the family was all sitting on the couch. I think this is a clever Fox marketing thing. The movie comes out December 25th now I believe. I actually haven't even seen it, and I really don't know what it's about, but I do know it looks pretty cool for a kids film. The kidlets are in love with furry little creatures, and they may want to see it over and over again, if that happens I feel sorry for the parents. Help us all.

Alice In Wonderland

I haven't posted for a little while, but wanted to share the fact that I got re-hired at ImageWorks for Tim Burton's new film, Alice In Wonderland. I'm very happy to be back here, especially since my friends all work here. I can't talk about what I do here, because they will have to kill me according to my contract, but let's just say it's very very special, kind of like the stuff that you hear goes on at the Wonka Chocolate Factory. There are a couple Oompa Loompa's running around. I don't see them to often, but it is everything magical you could imagine.

Alvin 2 Production and 12 Hour Days

Only two weeks left until my part on production ends. Life in the movie business is a very fast moving monster, and for good reason. Imagine if we treated the making of a film, heavy in effects, like a typical government job. Just think of the waste you would encounter.

We work fast and for profit, hence production budgets account for enough money to actually lift an In-N-Out burger store off of it's foundation and drive it to us. Yes we are living large. Fat overtime, endless 12 hour shifts and In-N-Out Burger's.

Okay I must go now, because I need to finish my shots. See you at the next post.
